GIFL Project: Geophysical Surveys
As part of the GIFL project, comprehensive geophysical surveys were conducted. These included bathymetric surveys, the findings of which have been supplied to our internal teams to support other reports. A magnetometer survey was conducted within the bridge corridor to detect potential hazards. Seismic testing was also performed at multiple sites, providing valuable data on ground density crucial for the foundation design of the proposed bridge. Collectively, these reports form the basis for the design assumptions of the Fixed Link project.
